Kunming Nancheng Mosque

The Nancheng Mosque is the largest mosque in Kunming, the mosque was constructed during the Tang Dynasty and continued to be renovated and reconstructed through the Qing Dynasty. The mosque’s design reflects that of Chinese temples due to the Buddhist culture.

With the rebuilding of the mosque in 1996 it has an estimated area of 2,557 square meters. The main highlights of the mosque are the Chaozhen hall, Xuanli Tower and the Muslim building.
