	Introduction to Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park Xiamen Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park covers an area of about 500 hectares, equivalent to half of Gulangyu Island. It is Xiamen's largest park and also the largest wetland ecological park, known as the green lung of the city of Xiamen. Every March, a large number of egrets nest and breed there, it is also an important stopover for migratory birds migrating from north to south. According to functional planning, wetland ecological park will have a reserve, mangrove flora, bird-watching Island, Lake recreational sports areas. The conceptual design of Wuyuan Bay Wetland Park was proposed by Atkins, which is a Britain company and one of most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies in the world.
