	Introduction to Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort (西岭雪山滑雪场) Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort is renowned as the largest and the best alpine ski resort in China. Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort is about 120 kilometers away from Chengdu. Snow in Xiling Ski Resort snows from the end of November to the end of March of the next year and the depth can reach 60cm. Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort has been advancedly equipped and can cater to different ski-lovers. There are 7 world-class Alpine ski pistes which has a total of 10 kilometers length and ranges from beginner, intermediate, to advanced levels constructed in Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort. Other facilities including cable cars, snowmobiles, snowfield pulleys and sledges can also be found in Xiling Ski Resort. With the longest cable line in China, the cable car connecting the ski resort and the Sun and Moon Platform of Xiling Snow Mountain measures a length of 2,500 meters. Besides skiing, a large variety of activities like snowboarding, sledging, snowmobiling, motor-skiing, hot-air ballooning, gliding, and so on are available in Xiling Ski Resort. What’s more, Xiling Snow Mountain Ski Resort is also a grass ski resort. In summer when snow is not available, tourists can also have great fun with grass-skiing in the ski resort.
