Introduction to Zhoukoudian Peking Man Site
It is believed that the Peking Man chose Zhoukoudian as its habitat due to the limestone caves. To see the remains and fossils excavated at The Peking Man Site, tourists can visit the exhibition hall located at Dragon Bone Hill. The exhibition hall is separated into 7 rooms. Room 1 exhibits fossil remains of the Peking Man and stone tools used. There is also evidence that the Peking Man knew how to use fire. The exhibits on show clearly depict the Peking Man’s appearance and living conditions. |
