Date: the beginning of the tenth month on the Islamic calendar
Place: Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Xinjiang and Gansu Provinces etc.
Eid al-Fitr is one of the three major religious festivals of Islam.Based on the Islamic law,each September of the Islamic calendar is the month of Ramadan.During the Ramadan, Muslims‘  men and women should not eat food ,have entertainment and sex from  dawn to sunset.

On the evening of the 29th of Ramadan,if there is a new moon, the next day is Eid al-Fitr.If there are not,keep one more day, the second day is Eid al-Fitr.

The Eid al-Fitr last three days.The first day,every family gets up early, clean indoor and outdoor and make the surroundings comfortable and pleasant.People will put on their beautiful clothes.After 8:00am in the morning, People carry a small blanket or a small prayer mat and gather at the mosque.

When the imam announced the ceremony begins, people lay down the blanket or the small prayer mat, take off their shoes, face to the Mecca Temple Kaaba direction and bowe to pray.
