Jingdezhen Transportation

Jingdezhen is a political, economic, and cultural center of Jiangxi province. Since ancient times, the city has been an important commercial center and transportation hub that links the north and the south, the east and the west. Jingdezhen City has a well-developed traffic system consisting of waterways, highways, railways and airport. 

Get in Jingdezhen

Jingdezhen Airport
is located at Luojian Village, northwest of Jingdezhen city and about 8 km from the downtown of Jingdezhen city. There are current six direct lines from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Ganzhou and Anqing. There are no international flights now. 

Airport Transportation

Passengers can take an airport shuttle bus come and go between the airport and Jingdezhen urban area. The route of the airport shuttle bus is: Jingdezhen Railway Station–Wal-Mart–People's Square–Zhushan Middle Road–Xi Ke Zhan–Jingdezhen Airport. The ticket fee is 10 yuan for a voyage. 

The Anhui–Jiangxi Railway connects Jingdezhen to many key cities in China such as Shanghai, Nanjing, Jinan, Qingdao, Hefei, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Nanchang, etc. The station is situated in the Zhanqian Road in the city, which could be reached by bus No.12 and No.28.

The railway station is located in Tongzhan Road. Passengers can take bus 12 or 28 to get there. Taking a taxi to the station in the urban area only costs about 6 yuan.

There are three bus stations in Jingdezhen, including Jingdezhen Bus Station, Jingdezhen East Bus Station and Jingdezhen South Bus Station.

Jingdezhen Bus Station also named Jingdezhen Long-Distance Bus Terminal, situated at the junction of Yingbin Avenue, Changjiang Avenue and Cidu Avenue. Passengers can take bus 2, 4, 5, 9, 15, 28, 108 or K35 to get there. The station mainly operates buses departing to other provinces, especially provinces of Zhejiang and Anhui. Buses to Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Yiwu, Wenzhou and Jiujiang are all available in the station. Every day, there are several buses departing to Nanchang from 06:40 am to 18:20, which is the most frequent route of the station.

Public Bus
There are around 20 lines in the city, most of which runs as late as 18:30.
Three bus terminals are responsible for the long-distance travel, which are the central station of Jingdezhen bus, the east station and the south station. The lines travel within the provinces usually start from the east station and south station while other lines from the central terminal. 

Taxis are readily available and inexpensive.
