Beijing Temple of Confucius
The temple cover a total area of 22,000 square meters and is made up of four courtyards. The most recognized sites within the temple are Xianshi Gate, Dacheng Gate, Dacheng Hall and Chongshengci. Within the Confucius Temple are 198 stone tablets with over 51,624 names of scholars.
Getting to Confucius Temple
The easiest way to get to the Confucius Temple is to take subway line 5 geting off at Yonghegong Station and leaving the station by Exit D.
Admission: 30 Yuan (Includes entrance to the Imperial Academy)
Opening Hours: 8:30AM – 6:00PM (1st May – 31st October)
8:30AM – 5:00PM (1st November – 30th April)
