Wangfujing Snack Street is one of the biggest attractions of Beijing and is part of the most prosperous commercial areas of the city. Wangfujing Street has a history that spans over 700 years and is a cultural symbol of Beijing. The entrance of Wangfujing Snack Street is marked by an ancient majestic archway (Paifang) which is over 10 meters in height. Leading to Wangfujing Snack Street is a number of architectural structures that date back to the Ming and Qing Dynasties. 

Wangfujing Snack Street is open to the public all day and offers all kinds of snacks of Beijing and other cities in the country. Popular snacks include crossing the bridge rice noodles, pepper and chili soup, stinky tofu, Goubuli Baozi and sugar-coated hawthorn berries are just a few of the many delicious snacks on offer. At night when the red lanterns are lit, Wangfujing Street is always crowded with locals and tourists.
