The main construction in Bronze Goat Taoist Temple include Sanqing Hall, Hunyuan Palace, the Eight Trigrams Pavilion, Wuji Palace, and Doulao Hall, among which the Eight Trigrams Pavilion is the most significant building. The construction of the Eight Trigrams Pavilion was based on the ancient Chinese philosophy of “the sky is round and the earth is round”, which is obviously seen as it was built on square foundations with colored glazed dome on top. The pavilion is octagonal shaped with eight pillars having dragons drawn in relief in the corridor.

Bronze Goat Taoist Temple got its name because of the two bronze goats standing in Sanqing Hall. Besides the magnificent buildings in the temple, there are also many cultural relics exhibited. Inside the temple there is a teahouse where people ca eating snacks, drinking tea, and play mahjong. It is a great place to spend some leisure time and experience the local life.
