Introduction to One Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport(广州白云国际机场)
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport is the main airport of Guangzhou, China. It is the gateway of Guangzhou, as well as the major civilian airport in Guangzhou, and one of the three major aviation hub airports in China.
The new airport opened on August 5, 2004, replacing the 72-year-old previous, identically named Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (now closed). The new airport is 28 kilometers from downtown Guangzhou. The second phase of construction, planned for completion in 2009, will double the airports capacity. |

Transportation 1. Taxi: the most convinient way, costing CNY100 - 120 from downtown (express highway toll included) 2. Metro: take Line 3 to Airport South station, take the appropriate exit to the B1 of terminal building. 3. Airport Express: available to different cities in Pearl River Delta area. |
