The main building of the museum has three floors. The first floor is dedicated to showing the traditions and techniques of the fishermen in Macau and other regions of South China. Models of vessels, representations of different dishing techniques, costumes and implements used at the shipyards are exhibited. The second floor is given to focus on various aspects of Portuguese and Chinese maritime history. Model replicas of old vessels and ancient navigation instruments are what to see there.
