Introduction to Lion Grove Garden (狮子林园)
The Lion Grove Garden built in China's Yuan Dynasty, by a monk Tianru and a group of Zen Buddhists as a memorial of their master and teacher Zhongfeng. It has approximately 10,000 square meters and contains 22 pavilions, 71 steles, and numerous other works of art. The name of the garden "Lion Grove," came from a reference to lions in a Buddhist story which included descriptions of a rocky place in a bamboo forest (resembling the garden).

2. Take tourism bus 1, 2 or 5 getting off at Suzhou Museum Station.
1. Try to avoid visiting Lion Grove Garden during the summer holidays and Golden Week in October. There are many tour groups and local tourists during national holidays.
