Introduction to Tartar Mosque (塔塔尔寺)
Located in the end of Jiefang Road of Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the magnificent Tartar Mosque was built by the local Tartar people in 1897 entirely from donations. The mosque is the center for peaceful Islamic activities in Urumqi City.

Opening Hours: 9:30AM - 5:30PM
1. There are many public buses available from the downtown Urumqi to the mosque.
1. Recommended duration for a visit is about 2 hours.
