Introduction to Jimei Tan Kah Kee Memorial Park Jimei is also a famous hometown of oversea Chinese and an investment zone attracting Taiwan businessmen. The site includes some main tourist attractions, such as Jiageng Park, Turtle Garden, Returning Garden, the former residence of Mr. Tan Kah Kee and Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall. Jimei University Jimei University was invested to found by the well-known patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr. Chen Jiageng (Tan Kah Kee) in 1918. It was the result of the combination of five institutes and colleges in Jimei Schools Village in 1994. Over the past several years, the university has trained numerous talents. Jiageng Park Located in the north of Turtle Garden, Jiageng Park was built to be in honour of Mr. Tan Kak Kee and to fulfill his long-cherished wish that building a park beside the Turtle Garden .With an area of over 30,000 square meters, the park is the integration of western and Chinese style. Turtle Garden Situated in the southeastern seashore of Jimei stands and islet, Jimei Turtle Garden is surrounded by sea on three sides and links with the continent in the west.
