1 Tsangpo Badong Waterfalls

Tsangpo Badong Waterfalls are actually two waterfalls, located at the foot of Xixinglashan Mountain, one is 35 meters high (Tsangpo Badong Waterfall Ⅱ, only 35 m wide, and is the largest riverbed waterfall of Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon), while the other one is 33 meters high (Tsangpo Badong Waterfall Ⅰ). Tsangpo Badong Waterfalls are the most spectacular, primitive and mysterious waterfalls, and are also rated as the No.1 waterfalls in China.

Tips: the best visiting time is Autumn.

2 Detian Waterfalls (location: Guangxi province)

Detian Waterfall

Detian Waterfalls are two waterfalls on Guichun River located on the boundary of China and Vietnam. It is the largest transnational waterfall in Asia, while the fourth largest transnational waterfall in world. It originated in the Guichun River at Jingxi County, Guangxi province, with pretty much water all the year around, flows into Vietnam and then flows back into Guangxi, flowing through Detian Village of Daxin County, and forms the waterfalls on the cliff. The scenery of Detian Waterfalls change with the season, beautiful and magnificent!
Location: Daxin County, Chongzuo, Guangxi province
Tips: the best visiting time is June and July.

3 Hukou Waterfalls

Hukou Waterfall is the famous waterfall on the Yellow River of China, the momentum of the waterfall is a symbol of the spirit of the Chinese nation. Hukou waterfall is a natural waterfall when the yellow river runs through the Qin Jin Grand Canyon. The Hukou Waterfall is 50 meters wide and a depth of about 50 meters, it is the second largest waterfall in China (the largest waterfall in China is Huangguoshu Waterfall), as well as the world’s largest yellow waterfall.
Location: the intersection of Shanxi Province and Shaanxi Province.
Tips: the best visiting time is May and September.

4 Luoping Jiulong Waterfalls

Luoping Jiulong Waterfall

There is a Jiulong River which was also called as Xijiu Stream(喜旧溪), forming 10 cascades of waterfalls at the 4 km of river channel, that is the Jiulong Waterfalls, also known as nine dragon waterfall, consisting of 10-tier waterfalls compactly grouped in a valley. They appear in different shapes, magnificent and beautiful.
Location: Luoping County, Yunnan.
Tips: the best visiting time is every early February to early March.

5 Nuorilang Waterfall

Nuorilang Waterfall is located in Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan, 2365 m above sea level, 270 m wide, 24.5 m high, and is one of China's large calcified waterfall, as well as the widest waterfall in China. Nuorilang means the Male God in Tibetan, meaning talk and stalwart, so the Nuorilang Waterfall means the majestic waterfalls.
Location: Jiuzhai Valley, Sichuan.
Tips: the best visiting time is spring and autumn.

6 Huangguoshu Waterfall

Huangguoshu Waterfall

Huangguoshu Waterfall is the largest waterfall in China. The waterfall is named after one of local plant called Huangguoshu. The height of Huangguoshu Waterfall is 77.8 m, of which the main waterfall is 67 meters high; the waterfall is 101 meters wide, of which the main waterfall top width 83.3 m. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the typical erosion of karst waterfall. Huangguoshu Waterfall is not only a waterfall, but consists of 18 strange, dangerous, different styles of waterfalls.
Location: Anshun, Guizhou.
Tips: the best visiting time is July and August.
