Zhang Daqian Art Exhibition Held in Beijing

From January 16 to March 4, the National  Museum of China in Beijing hosts a great art exhibition dedicated to the famous  Chinese artist Zhang Daqian. More than 100 pieces of artworks are displayed on  the exhibition, including his replicas of Dunhuang’s murals, landscape paintings,  portraits and line drawings. Zhang Daqian was born in 1899 in Sichuan province  in the final years of the Qing dynasty. He later became one of the most  respected masters of Chinese painting of the 20th century.
