China and Pakistan New Direct Flight Opens

China Southern Airlines opened a new direct  route linking Urumqi and Lahore on June 21. The new twice-weekly air route uses  Boeing 737-800 aircraft, connecting Urumqi, capital of China’s Xinjiang Uyghur  Autonomous Region, and Lahore, Pakistan’s second largest city, on every  Thursday and Sunday. It departs from Urumqi at 8:00am Beijing time and arrives  at Lahore at 8:15am local time. The travel time is about 3 hours.
