Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-Speed Railway to Be Finished in 2019

The  Beijing section of Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway has been in the  underground construction phase and is expected to be completed by the end of  2019. Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway is a major transportation project  for 2022 Olympic Winter Games, linking Beijing’s Yanqing district and Chongli  county in Zhangjiakou. The new railway boasts a speed of 350 kilometers an  hour, and will cut travel time to less than one hour between Beijing and  Zhangjiakou.
