Datong - Zhangjiakou High-Speed Railway to be Finished in 2019

Datong - Zhangjiakou High-Speed Railway is a supporting transportation project for the 2022 Winter Olympics Games. The 140-kilometer railway, connecting Datong of Shanxi Province and Zhangjiakou of Hebei Province in north China, is designed to run at speeds of up to 250 kilometer per hour, and will cut travel time to just 40 minutes. Its construction is expected to be finished by the end of 2019.
