Day 01 Macau
Detailed Itinerary: Pickup service is available from hotels in Macau only. Get picked up from your hotel lobby at 09:00am.
Your tour begins with a trip to The Panda Pavilion, a nature park containing multiple animal species ranging from gorillas, flamingos, monkeys, and of course the famous pandas.
Then go to Rua do Cunha Street, a traditional colonial style narrow pedestrian street, well known for its Macanese pastries, snacks lined along the street, famous restaurant "O Santos" Comida Portuguesa which is known as Macau’s most authentic Portuguese restaurant.
Visit historical corner of Macau. Stop at the 16th-century Ruins of the Church of St. Paul and the old walls at Monte Fort. Enjoy collections in Museum of Macau, which occupies the foundations and platform with exhibits that illustrate the life of Macau and its people over the past four centuries, emphasizing the bi-cultural character of the city. The museum is located in the 17th-century Mount Fortress.
Senado Square is nearby, and many people like to stay there for hours for shopping or just strolling around. It is an elongated triangular shaped square and connects Largo do São Domingos at one end and Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro on the other. It is the place where you can find the first chamber in Macau, the first western style clinic, St. Dominic's Church which is famous for its decorated wooden ceiling.
After your tour, transfer back to your hotel in Macau, or Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal to continue your trip to next destination.
Ruins of St. Paul's: The Ruins of St. Paul's refer to the facade of what was originally the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640, destroyed by fire in 1835, and the ruins of St. Paul's College, which stood adjacent to the Church.
Senado Square: Senado Square is a famous tourist spot in Macau and it is a must-see attraction when on a Macau tour. The Senado Square is situated in the heart of Macau’s historic district and occupies an area of 3,700 square meters, being one of the four largest squares in Macau. Today it is a popular square for public occasions and celebrations in Macau.
