Thailand Climate

Thailand has a tropical climate. It has an average annual temperature of 24°C – 30°C and the average annual rainfall of 1,000 ml.

Thailand is split into three seasons, hot season, rainy season and dry season. The dry season runs from November to the end of February when it doesn’t rain much and temperatures are at their lowest. The hot season starts from March to June when temperatures can be as high as 42°C in Thailand. From July to October, Thailand falls into its rainy season when tropical monsoons sweep most of the country and pours are commonly seen.

Generally, dry season is considered as the best time to visit Thailand for the weather is the most pleasant. However, for beach-lovers the hot season should be the best time to visit famous sites like Phuket and Samui.

Vietnam Climate
The weather in Vietnam varies from different regions but the climate difference between the north and the south is particularly obvious. However, the majority of the time the weather is of a tropical monsoon climate. The north of Vietnam has a distinct four season and is less humid compared to the other regions.

From May to October is the summer months and this is when the temperatures can soar to 40°C. The most pleasant months to visit are March, April, October, November and December. The south of Vietnam experiences hot humid weather just about all year long. Rain season begins in May and ends in November, with the wettest months being June, July and August. The average temperature for the southern region of Vietnam ranges from 25°C -30°C.

Cambodia Climate
The weather in Cambodia is dominated by monsoons, the best time to visit Cambodia is from December to January when there is little rainfall and humidity levels are relatively low and this is the peak season when majority of travellers choose to visit. From early February the temperatures start to rise until it reaches the hottest month in April when the temperature can exceed 40°C. In May and June, the monsoon brings rain and high humidity for visitors until October. Rain usually comes in short, it is not such a bad time to visit.

Laos Climate
 
The climate in Laos is a tropical and subtropical monsoon climate. The wet reason is from May to October, and the average temperature is between 25°C-30°C. During this season there is a lot of rain. From November to is the dry season when the day and night temperature difference is significant and is between 15°C-28°C. The annual average temperature is about 26°C. The hottest month is April with an average temperature of 35°C, while the coolest month is December.

Myanmar Climate
Myanmar is a tropical monsoon climate, and the temperature is high all the year round. The annual average temperature is 27°C. Myanmar has three seasons, the rainy season, dry season and cool season. Each year, March to May is the hottest season in Myanmar and this is also the dry season. June to September is the rain season and October to February of the following year is the cool season.
