Luang Prabang, a delicate quaint little mountain city of Laos, located in the Mekong River Valley. All the old buildings are surrounded by the peaceful nature scenery which makes the city so serene.
Luang Prabang is a Buddhist center and there are more than 30 temples in the downtown among which the most famous and grandiose pagoda is Wat Xieng Thong that was built in 1560. Besides, there are many other pagodas with unique characteristics. In Luang Prabang, monks’ morning alms are a great sight in the streets.
