20% of the total tour fee should to be pre-deposit when you confirm the tour plan. The full or final payment is required 30 days before departure. Should the tour booked within 30 days before departure, a full payment is required.Receipt of your deposit or final payment will indicate that you and your travel agent (when applicable) have read these Terms and Conditions, and that you (and your agent) have accepted them.The Terms and Conditions below are based on the contractual relationship between chinatouradvisors.com and its clients. It is extremely important for clients understanding and accepting these Terms and Conditions for their quotations, itineraries and other relevant communication with our travel advisors.
Customers could pay their fees via the following THREE methods:

2. Wire transfer
3. Cash payment, travelers’ check and company check is applicable upon special request, but personal checks is NOT accepted.

In the event of cancellation we will refund all your payment made to ChinaTourAdvisors (cancellation fee is applicable) when we receive your written cancellation request 14 days before your departure.
The cancellation fee will be calculated as follows:
1. Cancellation received up to 14 days before departure: 100% refund of all money you paid;
2. Cancellation received from 7 to 13 days before departure: 10% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable.
3. Cancellation received from 3 to 6 days before departure: 50% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable.
4. Cancellation received from 2 to 0 days before departure: 100% of the tour price + full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable.
No-show travelers will be charged 100% of the tour price and full cost of Yangtze River Cruise if applicable.
We are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days during your tour.
Travel Buddy Tours Cancellation received up to 30 day before departure: 100% refund of all monies paid.
Alteration of Itinerary
Before you finalize the itinerary and send us the confirmation letter, any alteration to your itinerary is free of charge. Alternations after payment of deposit cost $25.00 per request. Customer takes the responsibility for all expenses incurred by alteration of the booking. This includes all fees and charges levied by third parties such as cruise operators, airlines and hotels.
All clients must possess a valid passport and necessary visas or travel documents. Client is responsible for all relevant documentation. Your travel advisor may assist you in applying for the necessary travel documentation upon request. ChinaTourAdvisors is not responsible or liable whatsoever for the failure of clients to obtain appropriate documentation.

How to get a Hong Kong visa?
If you wish to visit or transit the HKSAR but does not enjoy the visa waiver concession; or if he/she wishes to stay beyond the entitled visa free period, he/she must obtain a visa/entry permit before coming. You can go the nearest Chinese diplomatic and consular mission; you also alternatively submit your visa or entry permit application to the HKSAR Immigration Department either directly by post or through a local sponsor:

144-hour Convenient Visa to Pearl River Delta, Guangdong Province
Foreign nationals in Hong Kong can visit China's Guangdong Province for a maximum of 144 hours (six days) via entry ports in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmenm Zhaoqing, Huizhou and Shantou using the 144-hour Convenient Visa.
To be eligible for the 144-hour Convenient Visa, visitors:
1. Must join a tour organized by a registered Hong Kong travel agent
2. Must travel in a group consisting of a minimum of two persons and a maximum of 40 persons.
3. Can have a choice of ports of entry or exit in Guangdong Province
4. Must enter and leave the areas together in their group via the ports of entry stated above
At the ports of entry and exit in Guangdong province, immigration officers will examine passports and the list of names in the group. Group members will not need to fill in any immigration cards for passport stamping.

Hainan Province Visa-free policy for 26 countries
Visitors from 26 countries can enjoy visa-free access to China's Hainan province upon meeting certain conditions. Citizens of Japan, Malaysia, the USA, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Canada, France, Australia, Indonesia, Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, Austria, the Philippines, New Zealand, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Ukraine and Kazakhstan, can enjoy 15-day stays visa-free when travelling in groups of five or more people. The minimum size requirement of tour groups from Russia, the Republic of Korea and Germany is two people, while the maximum duration of stay for citizens of these three countries is up to 21 days.
Clients should take into account all international travel risks and familiarize themselves with health requirements applicable to the areas they intend to visit. The client is solely responsible for checking the safety and security conditions, vaccination, and other health requirements of governments in countries visited or transited. Travelers who will visit Tibet are required to provide a doctor's certificate that he/she is fit for travelling and his/her blood pressure and heart condition are normal. This is a necessary requirement because of the possible effects that the very high altitude may have on certain people.
In accordance with regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg for the economy class, 30kg for the business class, and 40kg for the first class, plus limited carry-on luggage. Excess baggage charges are the sole responsibility of the client. Regulations within China specify that all suitcases must have a locking device attached. Failure to follow this regulation may result in refusal by airport staff to load suitcases onto the aircraft.

Complaints and Claims
Shall you feel unsatisfied with any service ChinaTourAdvisors provided, please notify your local tour guide or your travel planner to avoid the potential for similar problems happening again during your trip.
In the event of a complaint or claim for compensation, you should inform us via email, regular mail, or facsimile in written form within 15 days after you return. Relevant receipts and substantiating evidence must be attached to the letter of claim. ChinaTourAdvisors will not liable for any claims made later than 15 days after the completion of your tour.

Liability and Responsibility
ChinaTourAdvisors provides tour information and China tour bookings. ChinaTourAdvisors publishes travel information and services gathered from the selected quality hotels, air ticket agencies and local branch companies. ChinaTourAdvisors is not responsible for errors, emissions or inaccuracies in information provided by third party providers.
ChinaTourAdvisors shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent or fraudulent information, omissions, changes of itinerary, cancellation or the failure of any equipment operated by those suppliers or any other third party not directly owned or controlled by ChinaTourAdvisors.ChinaTourAdvisors shall not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property, alteration of itineraries or cancellation in part or in full caused by climatic conditions, natural calamity, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities, wars whether or not declared, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, epidemics, quarantines, medical or customs regulations, terrorist activities, or any other actions, omissions or conditions beyond ChinaTourAdvisor's control. Neither ChinaTourAdvisors nor any of its affiliates or subsidiaries shall be or become liable or responsible for any additional expenses of liability sustained or incurred by the tour member as a result of any of the aforementioned causes.
ChinaTourAdvisors is not responsible for a client's failure to comply with customs regulations.
ChinaTourAdvisors is not responsible for the theft or loss of any customer's valuables or items of personal property due to the negligence of the customer.
ChinaTourAdvisors reserves the right to substitute hotels, flights, or cruise ships, to alter itineraries, or to cancel the tour prior to departure. If ChinaTourAdvisors has cancelled any tour prior to the commencement of the tour, ChinaTourAdvisors is liable for a full refund of the money received from the client.
Many of ChinaTourAdvisors tour packages include activities that require care and attention. Such activities include, but are not limited to boarding and going ashore from boats, climbing hills, and entering and exiting tombs and caves. You will receive help and advice from our representatives but all activities are undertaken at your own risk. ChinaTourAdvisors, its employees and agents are responsible for any action or event that occurs after its said employees and agents have exercised their duty and taken the necessary care.
ChinaTourAdvisors reserves the right to modify or rescind the terms and conditions in whole or in part at any time with or without notice.
Modification or Discontinuance of Service
ChinaTourAdvisors reserves the right to modify or discontinue service to clients who behave illegally or objectionably toward its employees and agents. Offensive behaviors include, but are not limited to conducts which are obscene, racially offensive or of a sexual nature.
