Hong Kong Museum of Art is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department. Museum of Art was founded in 1962, originally located at City Hall High Block. New building at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre was completed in 1991. This Museum dedicated to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage of China Hong Kong Arts.

More than 15,000 collections were collected here, including Chinese paintings and calligraphy, ancient treasures, historic paintings and creations by local artists. Part of the featured Collection was on display at long-term exhibition hall. Special Exhibition Gallery also organizes local and international temporary exhibitions, including ancient and modern topics. If you are planing a trip to Hongkong, and you are also like art, this is a must-go place for you.

Traffic Guide
1 Take MTR Tsuen Wan Line, drop at Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit E, walk to Salisbury Road and turn right, go through the pedestrian tunnel next to the YMCA to Hong Kong Museum of Art.
2 Take the subway to Tsim Sha Tsui Station Exit E; walk about 3 minutes along Nathan Road in the direction of Salisbury Road.
3 Take to Tsim Sha Tsui at Central or Wan Chai.
