The Long Museum is the largest private museum in China. It was founded by Chinese famous couple collectors Liu Yiqian and his wife, Wang Wei. The Museum has two branches, the Long Museum Pudong and Long Museum West Bund. Being the museum that has the largest and richest collection of artworks in China, the Long Museum attracts numerous tourists there for the admiration of artworks. Also it has become a hot tourist site in Shanghai.

The Long Museum has a wide range of artworks exhibited. Collection of traditional, modern and contemporary of Chinese art, and contemporary art of Asia and Europe are founded in the museum. Mainly devoted to professional art exhibitions, researches and collections, the Long Museum also takes the responsibility to promote cultural education in public.

In addition to the precious artworks exhibited, the impressive architectures of the Long Museum itself are also pieces of artworks. The Long Museum Pudong that is located at No. 210, Lane 2255, Luoshan Road, Pudong New Area of Shanghai was constructed to look like a square with three floors in an area of 10,000 square meters. The Long Museum West Bund is situated at No. 398, Longteng Avenue, right on the waterfront in Binjiang. This museum sites covers a large area of 33,000 square kilometers. Its stunning architecture is outstandingly featured by the umbrella-vaulted structure of the main part.
