Entering into the Station Hall
Wait in lines to enter into the station hall after your arrival at the railway station. You have to show your tickets and passport or ID to the working staffs. At the same time, have your luggage examined by X-ray machine to check if there are items that are prohibited to take on the train.
Find the Right Waiting Hall
After your entrance into the station hall, you should find your waiting room and boarding platform by referring to the LED bullets screen where train numbers and corresponding waiting rooms, train schedules and statues are displayed. Public facilities like toilet, drinkable hot water, grocery stores and newsstands are equipped in all waiting rooms. If you have trouble in finding your waiting room or other problems, ask help from working staffs.
Generally,check-in starts 30 minutes before the departure time in a starting station, or only a three to five minutes for check-in if it is an intermediate station. Pay close attention to the broadcasting which would remind you for checking in. Find the right ticket entrance from signs writing train number and platform number on it. After check-in, just follow the stream of people to get to your platform.
Board the Train
Carriage number is printed on the exterior of each carriage. Find your carriage according to the information printed in your ticket. You will be required to present your ticket by the working staff standing at the door of each carriage to make sure you board the right carriage. Seated on your seat number and put your luggage on the shelf. You ticket will get exchanged with a boarding card by the working staff if you are holding a sleeper ticket. And you will have your ticket back before your destination arrives.
Get Off the Train
There will be announcement before the train arrives at each station. Pack up and get off the train when your station arrives.
Leaving the Station
There are clear signs indicating EXIT above your head or follow the flow of people and get out of the station.
