As a world-famous tourism city, Guilin has very convenient transportation in ways of air, railway, and road. Guilin has the Guilin Liangjiang International Airport providing for air services. The Guiyang-Guangzhou High-speed Railway opened in June, 2015 that traverses Guilin has greatly promoted the convenient accessibility of Guilin by train.
Flying is the most convenient way to arrive in and depart from Guilin with the air services provided by Guilin Liangjiang International Airprot. The airport is located 30 kilomteters west of Guilin city center and it only takes 40 minutes by taxi. Flights to most major domestic cities include Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Xian, Chengdu, and so on are available in the airport.
