Shanhaiguan Great Wall Introduction to Police Married Quarters (原创方)

The Police Married Quarter (PMQ) is located in downtown Hong Kong and is a combination of creative art space and boutiques that have created a modern pop-up market. The place is great for finding unique clothing, art and fashion items. There is also a range of great eateries that serve French pastries and German beers.

The PMQ building itself was turned into a dormitory in 1951 to accommodate the increasing numbers of police officers required due to the large number of refugees in Hong Kong. Today PMQ has over 100 young entrepreneurs that utilize the design and creative space to create an amazing place for local designers to showcase their ideas and products. There are also exhibitions held at PMQ that range from fashion, photography and fine art.
