Introduction to Former French Concession (上海前法租界)

Shanghai Former French Concession was once the foreign concession of France in Shanghai. Today the area is now a district of Shanghai. It covers the Xuhui District and Luwan District, occupying the center, south and west of urban Shanghai, and its central Huaihai Road is a busy shopping street. Its tree-lined avenues and their many Tudor mansions still retain an air of the "Paris of the East".

The tourist attractions in the area include the Xintiandi, Old French Concession Streets, Sun Yat-Sen's Former Residence, Zhou Enlai's Residence, and Fuxing Park. The featured roads and areas are the Fuxing Road, Shanghai Xitiandi, Sylvan Streets, Bar and Club Districts.

The shopping areas and shops are: Ruijin Second Road, Diva Life Nail & Beauty Lounge, Huaihai Road, Xujiahui, Julu Lu, An Fu Lu, Garden Books, Torana House, Spin Ceramics and Posh Shopping.
