Celebrate World Cycling Day on September 17 in Guangzhou
After nearly 30 years, the craze of cycling returned to major cities of China. Driven by capital, thousands of bikes are flooding to Tianjing bike factories. This time, something new, besides a means of transport as in the past, has been added to riding a shared bike. It is also kind of fashionable and eco-friendly action.
2017 marks the 200th year since the birth of the bicycle. Shared bike magnate Mobike is going to celebrate it by launching a 'World Cycling Day' program in Guangzhou on September 17. With joint effort from several prominent global sponsors, United Nations Environment Programme, World Resource Institute, as well as domestic medias including Xinhua News Agency and the Beijing News, this program is aimed at promoting the idea that 'cycling can change the lives of city dwellers'.
The cycling route officially released covers Guangzhou's most iconic landmarks, such as the Canton Tower, and the Langham Place, Guangzhou, where participant can have a delicate buffet lunch. Participant will be provided with a themed T-shirt, Mobike monthly card, and definitely, a bike.
